I love working with bronze. It is a beautiful enduring material. Bronze is the most popular metal for cast sculptures because of its strength, quality and beauty. My sculpture starts in my studio where I draw and develop the idea. I figure out how to execute my idea in clay. I use very soft clay to work on the model. I use both water based and oil based clay. Once I am satisfied with my model, I use the lost wax process in casting my artwork to bronze. Each piece of my sculpture undergoes these basic steps- mold making, pouring the wax, chasing the wax, creating a ceramic shell, dewaxing and poruing the metal, sandblasting the cast metal and welding, chasing the metal, application of patina and mounting on a base. I work with a team of dedicated, talented and professional people who help me execute my artistic visions. All of my works is produced locally in Colorado, USA. Each piece is a limited edition and carries a certificate of authenticity which I personally signed.
